regardless of their situation. That is why we accept Medicaid and have
discounted rates for those who are uninsured at all 5 of our locations.
Different services are available for when you need them. Such as a same day sick
visit, minor injuries or if a comprehensive healthcare visit is needed. We are
able to do minor procedures in the office such as Hearing and Vision Screens,
EKG, Spirometry, Treatment of Cuts and Bruises, Allergy Injections as
well as Suture and Staple Removal.

Adam Figliola is an ARNP with specialization in family medicine and board certified from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He earned his advanced degree from NOVA Southeastern University in West Palm Beach, FL. Adam works at the Clermont office treating pediatric and adult patients.
Melissa RoddenNurse Practitioner
Melissa Rodden is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Tavares Pediatrics. She attended Western Governor 's University and received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing and obtained her Master 's degree in Nursing from South University. Melissa 's certification was earned from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a proud mother of three beautiful children and married to her high school sweet heart. Melissa is proud to be a part of the Tavares Pediatrics team and provide care to the pediatric residents of Lake County.
Joseph KennedyNurse Practitioner
Joseph works in the Professional Pediatrics office. He is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Joseph graduated from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts with his Master of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He is currently working on his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Simmons University with an expected graduation date of August 2022. He also has experience in Urgent Care and teaches undergraduate nursing for a local University. Joseph worked as a pediatric and adult emergency and trauma nurse for 11 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. He attended Maria College in Albany, New York for his primary nursing degree and a certificate in bereavement studies. Joseph has a passion for diabetes prevention, care, and management. He sees patients of all ages from infants to adults. He is married and has a daughter. Joseph is a huge Disney fan and enjoys spending his free time with his family at Disney.
Beverly WalkerPhysician Assistant
Beverly was born and grew as a child on the beautiful Island of Grenada, the Isle of Spice , with my parents , brother,sisters and several other relatives . As a child I enjoyed family outings , playing tennis, going to our beautiful beaches and traveling. I attended the United Methodist Primary school in St. Andrews , then went on to ST. Josephs high school . Then after I attended the Grenada Boys Secondary School , in preparation for university . Shortly after, I relocated to the United States , where I joined my parents and siblings and continued to pursue my career , as a healthcare professional . My first degree an Associate In Science was completed at the Nassua Community College , Garden city Long Island . From there I succeeded in gaining acceptance to the Physician Assistant Program at the State University of New York .Brooklyn , and graduated January of 1998.with a BS in Physician Assistant studies From then on I began to truly enjoy my dream and passion to serve my community . My career as a Physician Assistant started in Florida , as a Physician Assistant in Interventional radiology At LRMC , orlando . A few years later I joined the Pediatric Nephrology team at Nemours Children's Clinic , where I developed a passion for working with children . After a period of 2-3 years , I went on to become a Physician Assistant in general pediatrics , which has been and continues to be a very rewarding experience for me . I have had the opportunity to work in several communities including rural communities and truly enjoy working with families and children alike from various socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures.I am currently employed with Sumter Pediatrics , Sumterville , in Sumter County , where I am enjoying providing health care services to a small community and continuing to grow as a person through my experience there Outside of work going to the spa , gym and walking my chiweenie, LouLOu are few of the highlights of my me time . I also enjoy travelling , family outings, reading , attending soicial events like fundraisers , gardening and interior decoration and going to church on Sundays where I get to catch up with my extended family and worship together .
Marybel MorganDNP, MSN, APRN-C
Marybel Morgan, DNP, MSN, APRN-C works in the Leesburg Pediatrics office. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years of experience in Pediatrics and Family Medicine. In 2014, she completed a Master Degree in Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner From South University, and in 2019, she earned a Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice from the University of South Florida. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurse Council. She speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Marybel sees patients for a variety of reasons including all stages of a well-baby checkup, pediatric sports physical, asthma, ear infection and much more!.
Tiffany GuiceNurse Practitioner
Tiffany works in the Leesburg Pediatrics office. She attended Jacksonville University where she received my Bachelor's in Nursing. She then earned her Master's in Nursing from South University. She is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She always had a passion for children, and look forward to caring for children of all ages! She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have two beautiful daughters who are 6 years old and 19 months. She enjoy being outdoors, boating, going to Disney, spending time with family, photography, and traveling.
Ashley Suarez
Ashley works Tavares Pediatric Office. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended University of Miami and graduated with her Masters degree in Science and Nursing. Ashley was a part of the Sigma Theta Tau International honor society for nursing during her studies. She worked at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami with General and Pediatric Transplant patients for over 5 years and with 2 years of pediatric travel nursing. She just moved here from Miami with her family to become a part of the Tavares Pediatric practice.
Suzanne Wallis
Suzanne Wallis is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She attended University of Central Florida, and obtained her Masters degree in Nursing at University of South Florida. She has a unique background performing as a dancer at Disney's Beauty and the Beast show for over 10 years, along with other various shows. As well as being a mother/baby nurse taking care of newborns and postpartum mothers at Winnie Palmer hospital and FL Hospital for Women. She is proud to be apart of the Excel team seeing pediatric and adult patients since 2015 at the Clermont location.
